I am the founder and CEO of Angelic Services which provides in home care and Adult Day Care for seniors and disabled citizens. As a Nurse of twenty-six years, I have always had a passion for helping people. My prayer over 15 years ago was to be in a position that allowed me to provide care for the elderly and help others (specifically Single Moms) reach for higher goals…never settle for “status quo”. I didn’t know during that prayer that God was molding me into becoming the woman I am today. I have been mocked, turned down, disappointed and broken but with each of those stripes came GREATNESS My business style is often misunderstood because of my STRONG LOVE OF Nursing coupled with business savvy (checks and balances)
During this time, I also struggled with my weight and unhealthy eating habits. Through years of misconceptions, we have been encouraged to EAT, EAT, EAT not allowing our bodies to “heal itself” as well as burn EXCESS FAT as FUEL. Through the Intermittent Fasting Lifestyle, I have learned the “how and why?” After years of pain and healing, I decided to share my journey with you through my new book, “From Bear to Barely There! My Healthy Weight Loss Journey” I will share with you the pain that caused me to change my mindset about eating to become a healthier me, as well as, the methods that I used to lose the weight in a healthy way, through Intermittent Fasting. Our bodies are very complex yet also BRILLIANT! Intermittent Fasting is not a diet, it is a pattern of eating which allows our bodies to work as they were created to do.
This journey hasn’t been easy. I decided to turn the emotional pain of being called a “big black bear” into fuel that has over time, changed my life.
